Framework for Reimagining Arts and Museum Engagement

What happens when young people help shape cultural institutions?

FRAME explores how cultural institutions can become more open, relevant and responsive to young people, through dialogue, research, co-design, experimentation and advocacy.

Not passive recipients. Co-designers.

What happens when we invite young people to co-design what happens inside cultural institutions, instead of being passive recipients or only participants?

FRAME brings together young people, artists, researchers, cultural practitioners, institutional professionals and policymakers to ask this question together.

It isn’t about finding one formula. It’s a space to learn, experiment and imagine new ways for young people and cultural institutions to design together, and to share what we learn openly, so the ideas can travel across Egypt and the Arab region.

Three Inter-connected Phases

Explore

Encounter. Listen. Investigate.

Co-design & Intervene

Imagine. Create. Experiment.

Document & advocate

Research. Develop. Share.

The process, tools, findings and recommendations are shared openly, so these ideas can travel beyond one institution.

Editions
